This is a letter sent to the coaches on Monday, July 21st from Sheri Dever.

Fellow Coaches—

I have had several questions concerning uniforms, and rightfully so.  As much fun as this is, I will ask for your patience right up front.  They have been ordered a month ago, and are starting to arrive a few pieces at a time.  Our order was a large one, and Adidas has been trying to accommodate our sizes and quantity.  Because of the costs involved to print numbers and logos, we are going to have them printed when the whole order is here.  I know that everyone wants and needs them now, due to tournament participation.  In order for us to keep the uniform prices as low as we have, we need to incur as few costs as possible with the print shop.  Every time we have a job done, there is a set up fee.  This adds up in a hurry.  Please be patient with us on this.  Most teams have opted to order the green training t-shirts with numbers on them and have been able to get by for now.  If your team needs or wants t-shirts, I really need to know, as it takes time to order them and get them screened.  The only teams that have not contacted me about this are the U-10 boys and U-11 boys teams.  Each of these teams has a few players that have ordered t-shirts at registration.  All the girls teams are pretty much covered at this point.  We recently learned that a special state logo is required on all uniforms.  We are going to put this on the shorts, so that will be additional time and maybe cost.  We will let you know on that.  A couple of teams were given shorts that came in.  We will need to get those shorts back at some point to have the logo put on them.  I will contact you personally on how this will be handled, since we need to make sure everyone gets their own shorts back.

Please remind people on your teams that if they ordered a t-shirt, they can’t change their mind about sizes now.  The numbers have already been screened as per their orders.  As soon as socks get here, they will be sent to have Infinity colors added to them.  I have been told that things should be arriving soon.  If you have a uniform or team representative that I should work with, I would really appreciate it.  I can ask them questions regarding sizes and numbers, or let them know the status of orders.  Some of you have already had your team reps contact me, and that has been great.  If you will please send me that information, I can make a contact list to better keep everyone informed.

As for warm-ups, we have not ordered them yet, as the style we originally sampled wasn’t satisfactory to many of our players.  The legs were too narrow.  We will keep you informed on the warmup situation as decisions are made.  

We want to have the coaches attire be a bit different than the players, so that you look different than the players on the field.  I have some gray and navy  training jerseys that have come in.  These can be purchased for about $28.  They are nice and we will have the Infinity logo embroidered on them.  We are encouraging all coaches to purchase these.  In the future, there will be other options such as sweatshirts and polos available.  Adidas is coming out with a new line for the fall.  Please let me know the size you want, and I will get them done for you.  The sizes are men’s sizes and run from small – X large (Sorry Todd!)

Now that I am back from Europe, I will work on getting training schedules in place to help with your teams.  I am involved with LaRoca Cup this week, but hope to see more of you on the field pre-season.
