The new Infinity 98 team, also under the direction of Robson Chaves, is starting out with a bang! They blazed through 5 games at the Impact United Tournament July 10-12 and came out the undefeated champions. After going home, they continued to train and work hard. All their efforts paid off when they went to the LaRoca Pioneer Cup and walked away with another championship trophy.
These girls are working really hard and improving each game. They are getting to know each other and are really meshing as a team. There is a lot of talent and depth on this team. Robson’s talents as a coach are evident.
After only 9 games they have a stellar record of 9-0-0. With their unity and teamwork they have already racked up 33 goals. With the help of their solid defense and some great saves, by their awesome goal keeper, Samantha Loosli, they have only allowed 9 goals.
The future is bright for this young team. Congratulations to all of them and to Coach Robson. You can catch them in action again at the Sparta Nike Cup August 5-9.
