Academy Soccer

We will have summer youth academy programs this summer for player 2-8 years old! Please check back for dates, times and location.

The Player

1. Each Player needs to bring a ball (inflated) with your name and phone # on it:
   

   *Size 3 for U6 and U8 player
   *Size 4 for a U9 and U10 player

2. A Water Bottle with water in it
3. Proper footwear: Soccer cleats
4. Shin Guards covered by long soccer socks
5. Dress appropriately for weather (we will have Infinity SC beanies available to purchase for $10)
6. Proudly wear your District 7 Jersey

The Parent

1. Arrive 15-20 minutes early to sign in (we have a lot of kids and we want to start on time) on the first day as well as every training session. We will be set up so the kids can play until we call them in and start on time. Also, if you leave and come back, please pick your child up on time.
2. A Lawn chair. Come sit down and relax while your child plays. We ask that you do not instruct from the sidelines. At these ages we use the guided discovery approach that allows the kids to problem solve on their own.
3. Patience. Not every kid will be excited to leave your side or for that matter run right on out and become the next Pele or Mia Hamm. Our top priority is to help your little player fall in love with soccer so he/she can develop his/her skills with passion as the motivator.
4. If you want to coach or would like to assist our coaches please let one of the coaches know before you jump on in. We would be glad to explain why we do what we do and mentor anyone to help them better understand US Youth Soccer’s and Infinity Soccer’s philosophy of player development. We are in the business of helping eager adults learn how to coach, so please let us know if you are interested!
